Department reported only about the detention of a former party member, without indicating the name. Ukrainian media, referring to sources, reportthat we are talking specifically about Lukyanov.

It is reported that the detention took place near the border checkpoint in the Odessa region. 60-year-old Lukyanov allegedly tried to go abroad as a person of non-conscription age. He is suspected under a criminal article about justifying, recognizing as lawful or denying Russia’s armed aggression against Ukraine.

According to the SBU, a former member of the Party of Regions, who was elected as a deputy of the Bakhmut City Council in 2020, after the outbreak of a full-scale war, began to cooperate with the Russian side.

It is alleged that the detainee re-registered his Internet provider company under Russian law. “In addition, he provided the FSB with full access to existing equipment, which allowed the Russian intelligence service to monitor the Internet activity of the local population,” the department said in a statement. The SBU claims that the former deputy allegedly ordered regular payments to the Russian budget and justified her actions in chats on telegram channels.

It is reported that during the search, his phone and some rough notes were confiscated, in which they found evidence of his actions.
