Political prisoner Alexander Kulinich died in a Belarusian pre-trial detention center

In the pre-trial detention center of the Belarusian city of Brest died reserve lieutenant colonel, political prisoner Alexander Kulinich.

He was reportedly two days short of his 52nd birthday. According to the official version, the prisoner died from coronary heart disease.

Kulinich was detained on February 29 in Brest on charges of insulting Alexander Lukashenko. It is also known that he opposed military aggression against Ukraine, in particular against the participation of Belarus in it, and supported volunteers fighting on the side of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

The trial of Alexander Kulinich was supposed to begin on April 16.

Telegram channel Sota notesthat since 2020, since the beginning of mass repressions in Belarus, at least ten political prisoners have already died in the country’s prisons.
