The Minister of Local Development follows up with the governors on the situation in the governorates during the first day of Eid al-Fitr

In implementation of the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and the mandates of Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, to take all necessary measures to welcome Eid Al-Fitr in various service and vital sectors in the country to make it easier for all citizens in the governorates to enjoy the Eid vacation with their families.  

 

 

Major General Hisham Amna, Minister of Local Development, followed up this morning with the governors on the developments of the situation in the governorates during the first day of Eid al-Fitr. This came during phone calls he made. The Minister of Local Development met with the governors this morning. And workers in the local administration on the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr. Major General Hisham Amna also congratulated His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, and Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, on the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr, praying to God Almighty that our dear Egypt will continue to enjoy security, tranquility and stability.

The Minister of Local Development stressed the need for all executive leaders in the governorates to be present in their positions during the Eid period, in accordance with the work plans drawn up by the governorates, and to continue opening operating rooms, crisis management, and coordination with The main operations room in the ministry is open around the clock in case of emergency.

Major General Hisham Amna pointed out the necessity of following up on the implementation of the Prime Minister’s mandates to continue the operation of outlets and exhibitions of food commodities and Eid supplies at reduced prices and appropriate quality and intensifying oversight campaigns on shops and markets to control Violations in cooperation with the supply directorates and executive agencies during the blessed Eid al-Fitr period. 

The Minister of Local Development also stressed the importance of following up on street cleaning work and immediately dealing with any accumulations of waste and removing them promptly in order to preserve the environment and the safety and health of citizens, and stressed Major General Hisham Amna stressed the need to address all occupancy in the main and secondary streets and squares so as not to affect the movement of cars and citizens. 

Major General Hisham Amna stressed the executive leadership in the governorates of the need to decisively confront any attempts to infringe on state property and lands or to build on Agricultural lands or illegal construction, taking advantage of the holiday period during Eid al-Fitr, as confirmed by " Safe " The importance of coordinating with local departments and authorities to report any cases of encroachment and implementing the immediate removal of these observed cases, and the Minister of Local Development stressed dealing decisively and not being lenient with those encroaching on agricultural lands or violating buildings, with the importance of field visits by the heads of neighborhoods, centers, cities and local units within the scope of their work during Eid al-Fitr holiday, and not to be lax in taking the necessary legal measures against violators.

 

 

Major General Hisham Amna directed the Ministry’s Operations and Crisis Management Room to continue follow-up. With operations rooms in the governorates, developments in the situation throughout the day during the Eid days, and coordination with the central operations room in the Council of Ministers in the event of any emergency events, indicating that the Ministry received any complaints from citizens during the Eid days on the “Your Voice is Heard” initiative.
