Urgent.. President Sisi performs Eid al-Fitr prayers at the Grand Mosque of Egypt in the Administrative Capital
President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi performed the Eid al-Fitr prayer on Wednesday morning at the Grand Mosque of Egypt in the New Administrative Capital.
President Sisi made sure that a number of the sons of the martyrs stood beside him and prayed with him. The prayer was also performed alongside President Sisi, Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, General Mohamed Zaki, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and Minister of Defense and Military Production, Dr. Mohamed Mukhtar Gomaa, Minister of Endowments, His Eminence the Grand Imam Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, Sheikh of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, and Dr. Shawqi Allam, Mufti of the Republic. And a number of ministers and senior statesmen.
The rituals of Eid al-Fitr prayer began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran by the reciter Sheikh Hajjaj al-Hindawi, then The attendees chanted the Eid takbirs.
