The singer, who during her career worked with artists like Ray Charles, Bernard Lavilliers and William Sheller, now lives between Paris and Haute-Savoie. In the provinces, she benefits from a house that allows her to take refuge in peace, far from show business.

“I’m in love with her”: her sweet words about her village

Nicoletta – real name Nicole Grisoni – was born in Vongy, a small hamlet on the outskirts of Switzerland, now attached to the commune of Thonon-les-Bains. Here, she created childhood memories and began by singing in a choir. For the magazine France Sundayin 2017, she spoke openly about her love for Haute-Savoie: “I love nature, the cows, the goats, the local people, so charming. And then there are all my childhood friends, those with whom I was at school, in the choir, in the club sporty”, she said before adding that with her husband Jean-Christophe, she comes there very often, around 4 to 5 times a year.

“In September, we come to collect mushrooms; at Christmas, after New Year’s Eve on the 24th in Paris, we treat ourselves to ten days here… It’s so pleasant to go from the bustle of Paris to the tranquility of Savoy.” A corner of paradise where Nicoletta can settle down easily because she inherited her grandparents’ house and bought another house, adjoining, from her half-sister. At the time, the singer claimed that she had “work” with the work to be planned since she became the owner of these two houses.

If many stars have a second home in Corsica – such as the host Jean-Luc Reichmann – Nicoletta prefers mountain landscapes. “I’m in love with it! Look at this transparent water, these shades of green and blue (…) As much as I hate swimming in the sea or oceans (…) I can swim for hours in the lake. I love them! know the fish”, added the star, who can enjoy Lake Geneva, right next door.

And Nicoletta, who lives most of the year in the capital, specifies Dauphiné Libéré : “I pay my taxes, but for land, it’s in Chablais.” The singer made this confession after declaring that she was in favor of the merger between Savoie and Haute-Savoie.
