Tom Brady drops SECOND unretirement hint in a day as he bids potential NFL return

Tom Brady has dropped a second unretirement hint on Thursday, just hours after he said he’ll ‘never be opposed’ to returning to pro football, even at age 46.

On Thursday, the seven-time Super Bowl champion wrote over a post shared by one of his former teams – the New England Patriots – on X that showed a throwback snap of their former quarterback looking unrecognizable with curls on his head from the 2010 season.

‘Just a little off the top???’ the Patriots shared as a caption to its post along with an emoji of opened scissors, tagging Brady’s barber, VicBlends, who also co-hosts a podcast with the former NFLer, called DeepCut.

’50k likes and i’ll u̶n̶r̶e̶t̶i̶r̶e̶  grow it back out,’ Brady replied to the Patriots’ tweet.

The 46-year-old, 15-time Pro Bowler has had different types of haircuts throughout his playing career (2000-2022), including a high and low fade, buzz cut, crew cut, man bun and pony tail. Nowadays, he has short hair but lets it grow on top.

Earlier on Thursday, Brady admitted that he is not opposed to returning to the field once again if the opportunity presents itself next season or even further down the line.

When asked by his barber on DeepCut on Thursday if ‘God forbid somebody goes down, would you pick up that phone?,’ the former signal-caller revealed: ‘I’m not opposed to it. I don’t know if they’re gonna let me be an owner in an NFL team.’

Brady was referring to his minority share of the Las Vegas Raiders. Last year, the California native with an estimated net worth of around $512million reached an agreement with franchise owner Mark Davis. He also owns part of the Las Vegas Aces in the WNBA.

Before responding, VicBlends and Brady threw teams that could call for his services – including the Patriots and Raiders.

While his ownership may be a roadblock to a potential return, he insisted that he will always be in shape to compete.

‘I’m always gonna be in good shape. I’m always gonna be able to throw the ball,’ Brady continued.

‘To come in for a bit like MJ (Michael Jordan) coming back – I don’t know if they’d let me, but I would not be opposed to it.’
