4 Emirati referees participate in managing matches "Asia Cup" In Doha
Dubai, April 12 / WAM / The Asian Football Confederation’s Referees Committee selected 4 referees from the Emirates to participate in officiating the AFC U-23 Cup finals matches scheduled in the Qatari capital, Doha, during the period from April 15 to May 3.
The list of Emirati referees participating in the tournament includes Yahya Al-Mulla, Ahmed Issa Darwish, “Sahha,” Yasser Sabeel, “Assistant,” and Muhammad Obaid Khadem, “Video Referee.”
The selection by the AFC came after the distinguished level demonstrated by the referees during their participation in managing various local competitions, the AFC Champions League, and the joint qualifiers for the 2027 Asian Cup and 2026 World Cup finals.
