He added that the Ministry’s agencies continue to decisively confront all forms of encroachments on the Nile River and waterways and work to eliminate them in their infancy to achieve good management, operation and maintenance of the water system, explaining that in light of The passage of the departments affiliated with the Nile River Protection and Development Sector and its two branches along the river’s watercourse during the blessed Eid al-Fitr holiday. A case of illegal buildings detected in the Quseir East district of Assiut Governorate was immediately addressed. Coordination was also made with the local unit in Al-Qusiyah in Assiut Governorate and the implementation of a number of ( 5) Decisions to remove buildings with an area of 750 square metres. A number of violations were also removed in the Manashy al-Balad district of the Qanater Center in Qalyubia Governorate. Works were immediately stopped and the violator removed the infringement with his knowledge. An infringement was made by the violating building in the Al-Bahr Al-Azam district of Al-Fashn Center in Beni Suef Governorate. Coordination was made with the local unit and the security services, and the works were stopped, the violation was removed, and the building materials were seized. The General Administration of Giza Irrigation also removed a violation in the cradle on the Blida Canal, 5,500 kilometers long, with an area of 81 square meters. Mazghouna irrigation engineering is in charge, in cooperation with the local unit and with the knowledge of the violator.
