NBK Sponsors Specialized Training for Kuwaiti Medical Team Heading to Gaza
At the conclusion of the training courses, Mr. Issam Al-Saqr, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors and CEO of the National Bank of Kuwait Group, welcomed the medical staff. In his speech, Al-Saqr welcomed the attendees, expressing the pleasure of the National Bank of Kuwait in its partnership with the Kuwait Red Crescent Society and the David Knott Foundation. This cooperation confirms the bank’s commitment to its strategic partnership with the Kuwait Red Crescent Society, which aims to enhance humanitarian endeavors inside and outside the borders of Kuwait.
He stressed the National Bank of Kuwait’s commitment to providing assistance to the people of the Gaza Strip with the aim of strengthening their steadfastness in the wake of the Israeli aggression. The Bank’s sponsorship of cooperation between the Kuwait Red Crescent Society and the David Knott Foundation confirms this commitment. The partnership provides training for doctors working in conflict and disaster areas. The bank hosted these specialized training courses for five days during the period from April 13 to 17, targeting doctors and trainees from Kuwaiti medical personnel specializing in general surgery and anesthesia.
