18 players on the judo team’s list at the African Championship
The Egyptian Judo Federation, headed by Marzouk Ali, announced the list of the team scheduled to participate in the African Senior Championship competitions, during the period from 24 to 28 April, in the indoor hall complex in Cairo Stadium.

The African Judo Championship competitions are scheduled to be held during the period from April 24 to 28 in the entire indoor halls of Cairo Stadium, and are of great importance given that it is one of the qualifying tournaments for the 2024 Paris Olympics. The first place holder gets 700 points.
The qualification system for the Paris Olympics in judo is based on collecting points through participation in international tournaments. And continental, which is a difficult system that requires participating in the largest number of tournaments and winning titles in order to snatch a ticket to qualify for the Olympics.
