Busted Bunnies dealt another major injury blow

South Sydney has been dealt a major injury blow, with front-rower Tevita Tatola suffering a broken foot and set to miss the next three months.

Tatola left the field early in the side’s round six loss to Cronulla and scans have now confirmed a fifth metatarsal fracture that will keep him out of action for 12 weeks.

The 27-year-old won’t be able to walk or put weight on the injury for six weeks.

Tatola’s injury blow couldn’t have come at a worse time for the Rabbitohs, who are already missing Jai Arrow from their forward pack for an indefinite period.

Latrell Mitchell is also on the sidelines for another two weeks due to suspension, while star centre Campbell Graham is still on the road to recovery with a sternum injury

Tatola had featured in all six games for the Bunnies this year and leaves a huge hole in the middle of the field ahead of clashes with the Storm and Panthers after the bye.

Elsewhere, young winger Tyrone Munro is facing another stint on the sidelines, with the local junior sustaining a fractured collarbone against the Sharks.

The 19-year-old has only played one game this season and is set to undergo surgery, likely ruling him out for an extended period.
