The Ras Al Khaimah Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Team monitors the effects of the depression

Ras Al Khaimah, April 18 / WAM / Major General Ali Abdullah bin Alwan, Commander-in-Chief of Ras Al Khaimah Police and Head of the Local Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Team, directed the team to go to the field to closely monitor the effects of the recent air depression and submit the necessary reports that require urgent solutions to enhance the immediate response and take notes that… This will contribute to the return of life to normal to ensure the preservation of public safety, according to an integrated proactive system of procedures related to rain drainage, and rapid and immediate response mechanisms, to deal with emergency situations and reports when they occur, 24 hours a day.

The Commander-in-Chief of Ras Al Khaimah Police thanked all the field work teams in the emirate that ensured the security and safety of community members during the weather depression that the country was exposed to during the past two days.

He stressed that the various agencies within the local emergency, crisis and disaster team in Ras Al Khaimah relied on proactive planning and full readiness of all work teams, and integration in rapid response around the clock in dealing with weather fluctuations and rainfall, indicating the keenness of the government partner teams to coordinate directly among themselves according to plans. Proactively dealing with the weather situation, in order to increase the efficiency and speed of response of field emergency teams, to enhance their full readiness, enhance the safety of all members of society, and ensure the preservation of their lives and property.

All emergency teams were keen to maintain field presence around the clock, as part of their preparations to deal with the weather situation that the country witnessed, which included many leadership and supervisory cadres, engineers, specialized technicians, rescuers, emergency notification coordinators, workers and drivers, highly efficient logistical supplies and equipment, and pumps for drawing pools of water. Rainwater, emergency vehicles, field survey vehicles, machinery, equipment and heavy vehicles, to deal with rainwater accumulations.
