Ile-de-France: traffic on the A13 motorway is interrupted in both directions between Paris and Vaucresson "For an undetermined time"

Huge hassle for Ile-de-France residents. Traffic has been interrupted in both directions on the A13 motorway between Paris and Vaucresson (Hauts-de-Seine) since Thursday April 18 at 11 p.m. for an indefinite period, report France Bleu Paris and Sytadin. “Infrastructure problems on the roadway were detected between the viaduct and the Saint-Cloud tunnel“, indicates Sytadin who advises motorists to “postpone (their) travel or avoid the area“.

Friday morning, hundreds of vehicles were stuck around 6 a.m. on this major axis of Ile-de-France in traffic completely blocked for several kilometers. Many early morning motorists were not aware of this closure and were unable to get around this difficulty. The axis was completely saturated around 8 a.m.

To reach Paris, the traffic application of the Ile-de-France Roads Directorate (Dirif) Sytadin recommends taking the A14 directly near Orgeval, or exiting at Vaucresson to join the A12 and the N12, to then be able to reach Paris via the Porte de Saint-Cloud, via the N118.

Last March, this axis had already posed great difficulties for motorists: the A13 motorway had been closed on March 5, between Rocquencourt and Porte d’Auteuil, due to the closure of the Saint-Cloud tunnel for a damage to safety equipment during the night, before reopening in the morning.
