The King Salman Relief Center supports prosthetic limb centers in several Yemeni governorates

The project to operate the Artificial Limbs and Rehabilitation Center in the city of Sayun in Hadramaut Governorate provided its various medical services to 370 beneficiaries of the brotherly Yemeni people who lost their limbs within a month, with support from the King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Aid. During the project, 1,802 services were provided, with the percentage of males reaching 57% and the percentage of females 43%, while the percentage of displaced people constituted 18% and residents 82% of the total beneficiaries, as the services were distributed between the installation and rehabilitation of prosthetic limbs, physical therapy and specialized consultations.

In a related context, the project to operate the Artificial Limbs and Rehabilitation Center in Taiz Governorate provided its various medical services to 391 beneficiaries of the brotherly Yemeni people who lost their limbs within a month, with support from the King Salman Relief Center. And humanitarian works.

During the project, 1,576 services were provided, with the percentage of males reaching 65% and the percentage of females 35%, while the percentage of displaced persons constituted 12% and residents 88% of the total beneficiaries, and the services they obtained were distributed between delivery, measurement and maintenance. Artificial limbs, in addition to physical therapy services and specialized consultations.

 

In a parallel framework, the project to operate the Artificial Limbs and Rehabilitation Center in Ma’rib Governorate provided its various medical services to 537 beneficiaries who lost their limbs. Of the brotherly Yemeni people within a month, with the support of the King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Aid.

During the project, 1,662 services were provided, with the percentage of males reaching 62% and the percentage of females 38%, while the percentage of displaced persons and residents constituted 85%. 15% of the total beneficiaries, as services were distributed between the installation and rehabilitation of prosthetic limbs, physical therapy, and specialized consultations.

The project to operate the prosthetics and rehabilitation center in Aden Governorate also provided its various medical services to 401 beneficiaries of the Yemeni people who lost their limbs. Al-Shaqiq within a month, with support from the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre.

During the project, 1,111 services were provided, with the percentage of males reaching 67% and the percentage of females 33%, while the percentage of displaced persons constituted 60% and residents 40% of the total. Beneficiaries, where services were distributed between installation and rehabilitation of prosthetic limbs, physical therapy, and specialized consultations. This comes as an extension of the humanitarian projects provided by the Kingdom, represented by the Center, to raise the capabilities of the health sector to alleviate the suffering of the brotherly Yemeni people.
