Zaki: The Arab League Council will discuss the continuation of Israeli crimes and the repercussions of the American veto the day after tomorrow

The League of Arab States announced that it was decided to hold an extraordinary session of the League Council at the level of permanent delegates, headed by Mauritania, the day after tomorrow (Wednesday) at the request of the State of Palestine. To discuss the continuation of Israeli crimes in Gaza and the repercussions of the American veto in the Security Council against the State of Palestine obtaining full membership in the United Nations.

This was stated by the Assistant Secretary-General of the Arab League, Ambassador Hossam Zaki. 

Zaki said, in a statement this evening: The State of Palestine submitted a request to hold the meeting to discuss the continued crimes of the Israeli occupation in Gaza, the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem. As well as listening to an in-depth briefing from the Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in the occupied Palestinian territories, Francesca Albanese, who met with the Secretary-General of the Arab League yesterday, Sunday.
