The Iraqi Army: We will not allow our lands to be a launching pad for any terrorist acts against neighboring countries
The spokesman for the Commander-in-Chief of the Iraqi Armed Forces, Major General Yahya Rasoul, confirmed that Iraq will not allow its territory to be a launching pad for any terrorist acts towards neighboring countries, especially Turkey, with which it has common economic and cultural relations.
The Iraqi spokesman said – in an intervention with the “Al-Iraqiya” channel: Al-Akhbariya, today / Tuesday / – “Iraq enjoys strong and common relations with the Turkish side,” pointing out that “the relations that bind Iraq with neighboring countries are based on respect for the sovereignty of their territories.”

He added, “There are good agreements between the Iraqi and Turkish sides in the security and military fields, in addition to the signing of joint memorandums of understanding in the field of military training.”
