Parliamentarianism" Demands the redevelopment and rehabilitation of social workers in schools
Dr. Shaima Mahmoud Nabih, member of the Social Solidarity Committee in the House of Representatives, called for the necessity of signing a cooperation protocol between the National Council for Childhood and Motherhood and the Ministry of Education and Technical Education, to qualify social workers in schools.
She continued, saying: The problems facing children in schools require the development and qualification of social workers to deal with children’s mental health, especially in light of the current developments of the era.
This came during a meeting of the Solidarity Committee in the House of Representatives, headed by Representative Abdul Hadi Al-Qasabi, to review the report of the National Council for Childhood and Motherhood submitted to the Committee on the Rights of the Child before the United Nations in response to the combined report of the fifth and sixth periodic reports, within the framework of implementing international obligations.
 
Representative Shaima Nabih praised the “Child Help” hotline. In the National Council for Motherhood and Childhood, saying that it always works in the best interest of the child She congratulated “Nabih” Engineer Nevin Othman, Secretary General of the National Council for Childhood and Motherhood, stressed the independence of the Council, so that it becomes an independent body.
Nabih affirmed that One of the questions that will be put to Egypt regarding the report is the children of Gaza, noting that Egypt has a firm, clear and specific position on which rights holders do not disagree, which is to support the Palestinian cause and the Palestinian people and reject forced displacement, and that there are unfortunately double international standards in dealing with the Palestinian issue.
Adding that Egypt follows the principle of clarity and permanent transparency, and Egypt received arrivals from all neighboring countries that suffer from problems and the scourge of war, stressing that Egypt’s position is firm and supportive regarding the issues of neighboring countries.
