Pro-Palestinian demonstrations: tensions on several American campuses

Pro-Palestinian and pro-Israeli protesters clashed on the campus of UCLA University in Los Angeles, United States, on the night of April 30-May 1. Earlier, New York police officers had evicted those who had occupied a building at Columbia University for 24 hours.
