Algeria requests a closed consultation session in the Security Council on mass graves in Gaza

Algeria, May 4 / WAM / Algeria requested a closed consultation session at the UN Security Council, next Tuesday evening, regarding mass graves in the Gaza Strip, according to the Algerian News Agency.

In this context, United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres expressed his deep concern about the reports of the discovery of these mass graves, and called for the need to allow independent international investigators to access these sites.

Guterres stressed that it is necessary to allow independent international investigators with expertise in forensic science to immediately access the sites of these mass graves to determine the exact circumstances in which hundreds of Palestinians lost their lives and were buried or reburied.
