NBK Sponsors KALD’s Persevering Student Award Ceremony for School Year 2023/2024
The National Bank of Kuwait held the honoring ceremony at its headquarters in the presence of Mrs. Sheikha Al-Bahar, Executive Vice President of the National Bank of Kuwait Group, and Mrs. Amal Al-Sayer, Founder and Chairman of the Board of Directors of KALD, along with a number of executive officials from the National Bank of Kuwait and the National Bank of Kuwait. Cald. During the event, prizes were presented to the winners of the third edition of the Persevering Student Award, students with specific learning disabilities or ADHD.
Huge potential
Al-Bahar said in her speech during the ceremony: “We at the National Bank of Kuwait are pleased to celebrate a new group of diligent students who won the KALD Award for the academic year 2023-2024. Our sponsorship of KALD activities stems from our belief in the tremendous opportunities it provides to children and youth with learning difficulties, by motivating them to unleash their abilities and talents and develop their social skills.
He added: “Over the past years, the National Bank of Kuwait has worked to build strategic partnerships with institutions and associations whose goals are consistent with our social mission, and which seek to provide support to various segments of society. Over the decades, the National Bank of Kuwait has achieved a proven track record in supporting and sponsoring social and cultural activities in Kuwait, in line with its firm commitment to fulfilling its responsibilities towards society, especially when it comes to providing the required academic and social support to students. In this context comes our strategic partnership with KALD, which provides care for a group that deserves all our support and encouragement from our children and youth with learning difficulties. She noted that our sponsorship of KALD activities is consistent with our sustainability strategy, which integrates education as a key factor.
