The spokesman for the Coptic Orthodox Church, Father Musa Ibrahim, said that President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi has established the principle of citizenship and equality in the new republic, as it is implemented according to an integrated vision, congratulating at the same time the Copts of Egypt and the Egyptians on the glorious Resurrection Day.
Al-Qums added – during a phone call with the “Al-Hayat Al-Youm” program, presented by the journalist Lubna Asal on “Al-Hayat” satellite channel, this evening, Saturday, that “President Sisi came to all Egyptians with a serious principle of citizenship, equality, and granting rights to every citizen who has this right.”
Regarding the occupation police’s obstruction of Christians entering the Old City and the Church of the Holy Sepulcher to celebrate the holiday, he said, “The support of Egypt and the Egyptians for our sisters in Gaza; It is clearly visible at the level of official positions and at the popular level,” stressing, “We are with them wholeheartedly.”
