Ruler of Ajman: Our armed forces are a source of our pride
Ajman, 5 May / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ajman, confirmed that May 6 is a historic milestone and a great national occasion celebrated by the leadership and people of the United Arab Emirates, which is the anniversary of the unification of the armed forces under one central command. And one flag, which was done at the hands of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, “may God have mercy on him,” and his brothers, the sheikhs, the founders and leaders of the Emirates.
In his speech on the occasion of the 48th anniversary of the unification of the armed forces, His Highness extended his highest congratulations and blessings, and the most sincere feelings of love and pride, to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, “may God protect him,” and to his brother, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed. Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, Ruler of Dubai, “may God protect him,” and to His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the UAE, Deputy Prime Minister, Chief of the Presidential Court, and to their brothers, Their Highnesses the Sheikhs, members of the Council. The Supreme Council of the Rulers of the Emirates, and to the people of the Emirates.
His Highness said: “Today we stand before the achievements written by history with ink of light and whose features were drawn by the sons of the Emirates and the brave soldiers of the nation who received the honor of belonging to our armed forces, until they became a source of our pride and pride, a high symbol of strength and a broad symbol of prestige and competence, thanks to God Almighty and then thanks to the great support he gave.” The founders of the Emirates, since the establishment of the Union State and the leaders of the nation until the present day, let us see today our national military force, proud and proud of its history, present, and bright future.”
His Highness the Ruler of Ajman added: “Our armed forces have proven, since their unification, that they are a factory of men and heroes, a source of strength and stability, and a symbol of sacrifice and redemption. They have demonstrated their worth, the greatness of their capabilities and qualifications, and the competence of their soldiers in all the fields and missions they have undertaken, whether in providing a helping hand to our brothers and preserving peace, security and stability locally.” Regionally and internationally, helping those afflicted in areas of disasters and conflicts around the world, and presenting an honorable image of the Emirati and Arab human being that everyone witnessed and of which the leaders and people of the Emirates are proud.”
His Highness stressed that our armed forces demonstrated the most wonderful values of humanity and redemption by responding to the call for help and afflicted people in various parts of the earth, by delivering aid by land, sea and air to the brothers of religion and Arabism, and spared no effort to reach the distressed and besieged by all means and capabilities, until the name of the Emirates became a shining beacon and a lofty symbol. For humanity and an example to be followed in providing relief, preserving human dignity, and responding to the call of those seeking help.
On this historic occasion, His Highness recalled the march of the heroes of the Emirates and the nation’s righteous martyrs, whose names and heroism were immortalized in history in the memory of the nation and in the conscience of the sons and daughters of the Emirates. He said: “Our martyrs are our sons who presented the highest examples of heroism in sacrifice for the nation and its security. On this occasion, we have mercy on them and pray to God Almighty to May He grant them the highest levels of Paradise.”
