Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi: Our armed forces are a powerful shield to protect achievements and gains

Ras Al Khaimah, 5 May / WAM / Sheikh Engineer Salem bin Sultan bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Civil Aviation Department and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ras Al Khaimah International Airport, confirmed that the wise leadership was keen to develop the armed forces as a powerful shield to protect achievements and gains, preserve the homeland and defend its sovereignty, as the cadres entrusted Humanity should pay qualitative attention to advance its path towards advanced levels of culture, training and awareness in a way that increases its efficiency and keeps it constantly informed of developments in the military, defence, armaments and technological fields in the world.

Sheikh Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi said in his speech on the occasion of the forty-eighth anniversary of the unification of the armed forces: We feel proud and proud of the honorable image that our armed forces have achieved of a high status and a modern army that is a model for regional and international armies, keeping pace with various military technologies and able to confront all challenges and contribute effectively to achieving security. And stability in the region due to its qualitative skills and capabilities that enabled it to perform its national and humanitarian duty in all different circumstances and environments.

Sheikh Salem Al Qasimi praised the insightful vision of the decision to unify the armed forces in 1976, which is considered an indication of the completion of the path of building the union that is compact in all its lofty foundations. “There is no homeland and no union without one proud army, a drawn sword and a solid shield that protects its gains and defends its fortresses and borders.

Sheikh Salem Al Qasimi said that in the history of nations and states, there are phased transformations that pave the way for paths of leadership and cultural superiority on the global map, pointing out that our state “was blessed by God, with exceptional rational leadership that harnessed most of the efforts and capabilities to unify efforts and visions after the establishment of our blessed state union in 1971, to be formed from its emirates.” Al-Sabaa, a country and a shining entity on the Arab and international map.

Sheikh Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi extended his highest congratulations and blessings to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, “may God protect him,” His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, “may God protect him,” and His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed.
