The Algerian Prime Minister discusses with the Libyan Presidential Council the latest developments in the situation in Libya

   The Prime Minister of Algeria, Nadhir Al-Arbawi, discussed with the Vice-President of the Libyan Presidential Council, Musa Al-Koni, the latest developments in Libya and ways to strengthen bilateral relations.

 

This came on the sidelines of Al-Arbawi’s participation as a representative of Algerian President, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, at the 15th Islamic Summit Conference of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, which began in the Gambian capital, Banjul, according to the Algerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in a statement.

According to the statement, Al-Koni expressed his appreciation for Algeria’s continued support. For efforts to reach a sustainable political solution that preserves Libya’s unity and sovereignty and fulfills the aspirations of the Libyan people to restore security and stability, with a call on Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune to continue his efforts and work to spare Libya from worsening external interference.
