Dubai, 6 May / WAM / His Excellency Charzalias Nikos, Governor of the Attica Region in Greece, confirmed that the Arabian Travel Market in Dubai is the global stage that includes all tourism, travel and aviation companies, and all industry players around the world, including his country’s companies.
In a statement to the Emirates News Agency, WAM, on the sidelines of his visit to the Greek pavilion at the Arabian Travel Market exhibition, the activities of which began today at the Dubai World Trade Center, the Governor of the Attica region in Greece noted the opportunities for cooperation with the Emirate of Dubai in the issue of luxury tourism and yachts and highlighting The ambitious strategic vision to attract tourists to his country.
His Excellency pointed to the strong relations between the UAE and Greece, noting the role that the Attica region plays in restructuring the local economy and encouraging innovation, technology and tourism development plans, as well as future companies with many countries of the world.
He stressed the historical importance of the region, which includes the city of Athens, the capital of Greece, and the modern administrative region of Attica, which is the most extensive, as it includes the Saronic Islands, Kythira, and the municipality of Troisenia on the Peloponnese island.
