Britain provides £12 million to support refugees in Bangladesh

The UK government announced £12 million in new humanitarian aid to Bangladesh, to improve access to clean water, healthcare, shelter and protection services for Rohingya refugees and host communities.

 

 

 

British Minister for the Indo-Pacific, Anne-Marie Trevelyan, confirmed today in a statement Britain’s commitment to strengthening bilateral cooperation with Bangladesh, expressing her aspiration to discuss the political and commercial project. The new project, which is a major step towards strengthening economic relations between the two countries.
