"sunrise" participate in "Arab Travel Market" With a diverse portfolio of projects

Dubai, May 7 / WAM / The Sharjah Investment and Development Authority “Shurooq” is participating for the 17th consecutive time in the activities of the Arabian Travel Market currently being held at the Dubai World Trade Center with a diverse portfolio of projects.

In his statements on the sidelines of the Authority’s participation in the event, His Excellency Ahmed Obaid Al-Qusair, Executive Director of the Authority, announced the opening of the first phase of the “Najd Al-Maqsar” project in the city of Khor Fakkan during the next two weeks.

Al-Quseir explained that the project includes 7 heritage hotel units built on the foundations of the historic village of Najd Al-Maqsar and its heritage architecture, with a reception hall, a historical fort dating back more than 300 years, and a mosque.

He pointed out that designs for the second phase of the project are currently being prepared and include the addition of 40 hotel rooms, with construction work expected to be completed within two years, describing the project as one of the most important ancient gathering centers in Wadi Shi in the city of Khor Fakkan.

He pointed out that the authority is currently working on the “Rahal” project in the city of Kalba, which is one of the most prominent luxury hospitality options provided by “Shurooq” for visitors to experience nature and adventure activities. The project consists of 20 trailers and is scheduled to be completed in May 2025.

“Shurooq” is participating in the “Arabian Travel Market 2024” with a diverse portfolio of projects that includes a group of eco-tourism and luxury hospitality destinations that combine the authority’s efforts to stimulate investments on the one hand and environmental sustainability on the other hand, and showcases its latest achievements to leaders of the tourism industry and promising talents in the travel sector alike. whether.

The “Shurooq” platform uses modern technology, multimedia, and visual storytelling techniques to provide a unique experience for visitors, taking them on a tour of the Authority’s environmental and sustainable tourism projects and luxury hospitality projects. The pavilion, divided into exclusive areas, enhances dialogue, communication, and exchange of ideas between those working in the travel and tourism industry.

His Excellency Ahmed Obaid Al-Qusair said: “Shurooq’s pavilion and the projects it displays at the Arabian Travel Market envy the essence of the Authority’s strategy and its commitment to combining investment, development, and support for tourism and travel service providers on the one hand, and the importance of preserving the environment and climate on the other hand.”
