In Poland, security services discovered surveillance in premises where a cabinet meeting will be held.

Polish security services have found and removed surveillance devices in a building where a session of the Council of Ministers was scheduled to take place on May 7 in the city of Katowice. This was announced by the spokesperson for the Minister for Coordination with Security Services of the Republic of Poland, Jacek Dobrzyński, according to TASS.

“The State Protection Service, in cooperation with the Internal Security Agency, discovered and removed devices that could have been used for surveillance in the premises where a session of the Council of Ministers was supposed to take place today in Katowice,” he wrote.

The security services are currently conducting an investigation in connection with this discovery.

Previously, the coordinator of security services in Poland, Tomasz Siemoniak, stated that the country’s security services used the Israeli software Pegasus for surveillance purposes on over five hundred Polish politicians.

On April 18, the Security Service of Ukraine reported the arrest of a man in Poland who was planning an assassination attempt on Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. The statement claimed that the Polish citizen allegedly had ties to Russian military intelligence.
