5 male and female players from the National Project join the U-17 Taekwondo team camp

Male and female players from the National Talent Project and the Olympic champion participated in the Taekwondo Championship competitions that were held on May 3 and 4 last at the Police Sports Federation Hall.

 

This tournament was held for Selection of players who will join the camp of the Egyptian Taekwondo team under 17 years.

600 male and female players representing 230 organizations participated in the tournament, including 110 players from the National Talent Project and the Olympic champion representing 9 governorates.

The governorates that participated in the project were as follows: “Cairo, Giza, Alexandria, Sharkia, Port Said, Fayoum, Aswan, Kafr El-Sheikh, and the Red Sea.”

5 male and female players qualified from the National Talent and Olympic Champion Project. To join the Egyptian team, they are: “Baraa Muhammad, weighing 68 kg, Hebat Allah Ayman, weighing 67 kg, Haneen Ali, weighing 42 kg, Judy Mahmoud, weighing 42 kg, and Maryam Muhammad Eid, weighing 59 kg.”

It is the national project. Talent and Olympic Champion is one of the most promising projects for Egyptian sports in various sports. It is also one of the strategic goals of the Ministry of Youth and Sports in the field of discovering and nurturing sports talent within the directives of the political leadership to intensify work in this regard.
