"Emirates Modern Rowing final" It launches next Saturday
Abu Dhabi, 9 May / WAM / Under the patronage of Sheikh Mohammed bin Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club, the fifth and final round of the UAE Modern Rowing Championship will begin next Saturday on the breakwater in Abu Dhabi, which the club organizes, in cooperation With the Emirates Modern Sailing and Rowing Federation.
The fifth round will witness the participation of 70 sailors from various clubs in the country, most notably the Abu Dhabi Modern Rowing Team, Al Hamriyah Club, the Dubai Police Rowing Team, the Dubai Rowing Club, the Abu Dhabi Rowing Club, the British Club, New York University Abu Dhabi, and the Monte Rowing Club.
The final round will also witness the honoring of the season’s champions from the various categories of the tournament.
The tournament will be held in two stages, the first starting from 9:30 am to 11:30, and the second from 2 pm to 4 pm, followed by the crowning of the winners.
The competition includes 16 boats competing in different categories of modern rowing, including singles, pairs, and quads, as well as different age categories, for juniors, females, youth under 23 years old, men, and women.
