Transport students take their end-of-year exams for the second day in a row in the governorates of the Republic

 Transfer students have begun exams for the second semester of the current year (2023 – 2024) for the second day in a row in various governorates of the Republic, where students from the fourth grade of primary school to the second year of general and technical secondary school take the exams. 

In Port Said, Governor Adel Al-Ghadhban followed up on the progress and regularity of exams in the preparatory school grades in the governorate, provided all means of comfort and safety for students during taking the exams, and achieved the best climate for students during the course of the exam process. He also discussed the governorate’s preparations for holding the general secondary school certificate exams, stressing that the highest levels of protection and security will be achieved. Safety for students during exams, ensuring the regular conduct of the exam, providing a calm and safe environment for students, teachers, and observers, and insurance during the exam period.

The governor indicated that the Directorate of Education has prepared for the start of the high school marathon, and coordination will be made between the Directorate Education and the various concerned authorities to take all necessary measures to ensure that the general secondary exams take place regularly. In the same context, the governor emphasized the continuation of the implementation of educational convoys for preparatory and secondary school students, stressing that the educational convoys this year witnessed a large turnout of students at school headquarters that were specially prepared at Port Said Secondary School for Girls and Al-Khalafa Al-Rashideen Preparatory School for Boys in Port Fouad and in Matrouh, the Undersecretary of the Ministry confirmed. Education in the governorate, Amr Shehata, said that the examination process for the transportation classes proceeds with discipline and commitment from all participants to the instructions and regulatory controls, and no complaints were received regarding the examinations at the level of all educational departments.

The Undersecretary directed the need to provide an appropriate, healthy and safe climate. Within the examination committees, and the efforts made by all elements of the educational system for a regular examination process in which discipline prevails for the benefit of our students and to ensure that every student obtains his full rights with transparency, justice and credibility. In a related context, the Undersecretary of the Ministry conducted an inspection tour to follow up on the course of the exams for the second semester of the academic year 2023/2024, where he inspected the exam committees for the second year of secondary school (electronically and paper) at the Martyr Ahmed Abdel Karim Hajjaj Military Secondary School and the Muhammad Naja Saad Girls Secondary School, and reassured the students. The students were assured of the regular operation of the electronic platform for the exam and everyone was able to access it and take the exam, under the supervision of members of the Technology Development Center. He was also reassured that the exams were going on on their second day in a calm atmosphere, as the exam questions were clear, free of ambiguity, at the student’s level, and comprehensive of all sections of the curriculum. In a way that achieves the relative weight of the examination paper. 

In Gharbia, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education in Gharbia, Nasser Hassan, stated that on the second day of the transfer exams, all exams took place in an atmosphere of calm, stressing that the ten educational departments received… Early in the morning, representatives received the envelopes of closed question papers for all grades and stages in preparation for opening them before the start of the exam.

He indicated that the general directors of the directorate and educational departments were directed to visit all committees, ensure the cleanliness of classrooms and seats, observe distancing, and exploit all spaces. Within each school, so that the number of each committee does not exceed 22 students only, stressing that there has been an emphasis on carrying mobile phones and electronic devices that help in cheating within the examination committees, and taking the necessary measures regarding the violations that are monitored in accordance with the regulations and instructions governing the work of Examinations in this regard, stressing that the correction process takes place as soon as possible for each subject after the end of the exam, and to ensure that each student is given his due rights, in order to achieve the benefit of the students.
