Successful conclusion of the Republic Equestrian Championship at Smouha Club
The Republic Equestrian Show Jumping Championship, which was held on the grounds of the Smouha Club in Alexandria, concluded during the past few days.
The championship was held for the first time in nearly 25 years inside Smouha Sports Club, and witnessed great participation and a distinguished technical level among all the riders.
The Republic Championship, which was held over three days, witnessed strong competition among all the participating riders, in All age levels.
The championship included four competitions in show jumping, which are as follows: the fourth class, the third class with a height of (120 – 125 cm), and the second class with a height of (120 – 125 cm). 130-135 cm), and the first class has a height of (140-145 cm).
All participants in the tournament praised the great organizational and technical level in which the competitions appeared. Over the course of three days, overcoming all difficulties in front of all the riders and attendees.
The Egyptian Equestrian Federation, headed by Dr. Ismail Shaker, extended its thanks and appreciation to the Board of Directors of the Smouha Club, headed by Engineer Farag. Amer, and the Equestrian Committee of the Smouha Club, led by Engineer Mohamed Farid, for the organization and wonderful level demonstrated by the activities of the Republic Championship held on the fields of the Smouha Sports Club.
It is worth noting that Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, and Major General Mohamed El-Sherif, Governor of Alexandria, witnessed the activities of the Republic Equestrian Show Jumping Championship for the first, second, third and fourth grades.
