Livvy Dunne brutally trolls MLB star boyfriend Paul Skenes over embarrassing in-game tumble

Livvy Dunne offered a hilarious response to her boyfriend Paul Skenes falling during a recent MLB game, as the gymnastics star took to her Instagram to score the pitcher’s tumble.
After an infield chopper from the Nationals’ Nasim Nuñez on Monday, Skenes raced over to third base to catch a toss from teammate Ke’Bryan Hayes and try and tag out his opponent.
However, Skenes lightly collided with Nuñez during the play and he wound up doing a sort of reverse somersault as he rolled out of the base path.
He wasn’t hurt on the play, as he avoided any major contact with the Washington player, but Dunne poked fun at her boyfriend afterwards.
Posting a video of the play to her Instagram story, she wrote: ‘9.8 slight deduction on the landing.’

Dunne, seen with Skenes after his MLB, has been a huge supporter of her boyfriend’s career
Dunne, of course, is far more well-versed in gymnastics as a national champion with LSU.
She is in her fifth and final season competing for the school.
Ultimately, it was a strong night for Skenes as he allowed just one earned run in six innings, adding six strikeouts in the 10-3 Pittsburgh win.
Skenes and Dunne recently posed for a GQ photoshoot (and accompanying story), and Dunne revealed how their relationship – which is now approaching two years – nearly didn’t get off the ground.
‘He wouldn’t follow me back on Instagram,’ she recalled. ‘I was like, Who is this kid and why won’t he follow me back?’
The couple first met after one of Dunne’s LSU teammates began dating Skenes’ best friend, which led to the group arranging a night out at a Morgan Wallen concert in Oxford, Mississippi.
Skenes threatened to derail the romance early on when he didn’t follow Dunne on Instagram
She remembered her future boyfriend being ‘shy’ that night in April 2023, though Paul described himself as instead being ‘kind of reserved.’
‘Reserved, yes,’ Livvy agreed. ‘But I had ambition to get to know him.’
Eventually, Skenes asked Dunne out for ice cream – and the rest is history.
