ICE agents shoot person in NYC as victim is conscious and rushed to hospital

One person was left injured following an interaction with Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents in New York City on Thursday.

New York City police announced on social media that federal agents were involved in a shooting just after 4pm in the Marble Hill section of the Bronx.

An unidentified individual was then rushed to the hospital, where police officers said they are conscious and receiving medical attention. 

The shooting involved ICE agents, ABC 7 later reported.

It remains unclear what led up to the shooting.
