Celine Dion health update as she makes a rare appearance with her sons as she enjoys Paul McCartney’s Las Vegas concert

Celine Dion made a rare appearance with her sons at Paul McCartney’s Las Vegas concert on Saturday night amid her health battle.

The Canadian singer, 57, looked thrilled as she sang and clapped along from the crowd while watching the Beatles legend, 83, perform at Allegiant Stadium.

Celine joyfully pumped her fist in the air as she spent quality time with her sons René-Charles, 23, and twins Nelson and Eddy, 14.

The Power Of Love hitmaker — who’s career was derailed by her diagnosis of stiff-person syndrome — lost her husband in 2016 to throat cancer.

Celine was all smiles as she kept low-key in a black and a matching long sleeved top as she sat in the sold-out crowd.

The My Heart Will Go On hitmaker revealed in 2022 that she was suffering from stiff-person syndrome (SPS) and cancelled her remaining tour dates at the time.

Stiff-person syndrome is a rare neurological disorder which ’causes muscle stiffness and painful spasms that come and go and can worsen over time,’ per John Hopkins Medicine.

In a video uploaded at the time to her Instagram page, the singer had emotionally explained, ‘Unfortunately, these spasms affect every aspect of my daily life.

‘Sometimes causing difficulties when I walk and not allowing me to use my vocal cords to sing the way I’m used to.

She added: ‘I’m working hard with my sports medicine therapist every day to build back my strength and my ability to perform again, but I have to admit it’s been a struggle.

‘All I know is singing. It’s what I’ve done all my life, and it’s what I love to do the most,’ the mom-of-three continued.

Last year in May, Celine – who also shared a moving message amid Eurovision’s semi-finals – gave a health update during an interview with Vogue and expressed that her ‘happiness has come back.’

She continued, ‘It has been a big burden on my shoulders, and a lot of that weight’s gone…because now I can just focus on reality. That’s wonderful.’

And during an appearance on Today also last year, the performer stated, ‘I believe in myself, in my bravery’ while adding that she will not let the disorder ‘control my life.’

‘I’m going to come onstage because I’m ready. And my vocal cords will not scare me because I’m going to be ready, and I’m going to hit those notes.’

Celine – whose experience with the disease was shown in her documentary I Am: Celine Dion – gave a moving performance at the opening ceremony of the 2024 Paris Olympics as she belted out L’Hymne à L’Amour by Edith Piaf.

More recently Celine was announced as the new face of Charlotte Tilbury as she makes a triumphant return to the spotlight.

Confirmed by the Daily Mail last week, the singer is making her comeback in a collaboration with the best-selling make-up house.

Wearing a nude sparkly feathered catsuit, Celine looked incredible as she posed next to Charlotte, 52, or their highly anticipated Christmas advert.

In a behind the scenes video, the two friends can be seen giggling and dancing around together whilst Celine kicks her leg high in the air.

For the new campaign Celine also sings her iconic song, I’m Alive.

‘I’ve always believed music and beauty can uplift and inspire confidence,’ Celine said.

‘Having my song I’m Alive as the soundtrack felt like a true celebration of resilience and joy.

‘I hope this campaign reminds everyone that confidence is the greatest gift you can give yourself—because when you feel alive and empowered, anything is possible.’
