Giza Governor opens a center "Khufu" For conferences in Remaya Square in front of the Grand Egyptian Museum

Engineer Adel Al-Najjar, Governor of Giza, inaugurated the “Khufu” Center. For conferences in the shooting range in the area facing the Grand Egyptian Museum, which is one of the modern headquarters that was established to be a platform for hosting events, meetings and conferences taking place in the governorate, especially those related to the tourism and cultural sector.

The “Khufu” Center includes For conferences, the General Administration of Tourism in Giza Governorate and a hall dedicated to conferences and events equipped with the latest technical equipment, in addition to administrative offices to facilitate follow-up, organization and coordination between the various concerned parties.

During the opening, the governor confirmed that the establishment of the center comes within the framework of the governorate’s vision to enhance tourism and organizational services in the area surrounding the Grand Egyptian Museum, which is considered one of the most important national projects that place Giza on the World tourism map.

Engineer Adel Al-Najjar indicated that the governorate is working to prepare the area surrounding the museum to be a cultural interface befitting the status of Egypt, praising the efforts of the executive agencies in completing the project in an appropriate manner and stressing that the center will be a nucleus for developing the system of tourism and cultural events in the governorate.

The governor accompanied  Hind Abdel Halim, Deputy Governor, Wael Shaaban, Head of the Central Administration of the Governor’s Office, Engineer Walid Abdel Latif, Assistant to the Governor, Azza Wahdan, Director of the Tourism Department, and Engineer Afaf Abdel Harith, Director of the Housing Directorate.
