RHOLDN’s Juliets Slam Amanda Cronin As ‘Toxic’ After Alleged Reunion ‘Attack’ Plot

If you thought the Real Housewives of London reunion would tie things up with a nice bow and some champagne cheers, then welcome — you must be new. Weeks after the chaos, that was the reunion, aired, the wounds between Amanda Cronin and both Juliets are still raw.

Let’s get into it. All season long, Amanda and the Juliets (that’s Angus and Mayhew, for those still catching up) have had tension.

According to the Juliets, Amanda who is never one to keep her opinions to herself, managed to insert herself into almost every dispute — from doggy picnics to dramatic afternoons supposedly celebrating women. That infamous International Women’s Day event? Good luck spotting any solidarity between the sips of rosé and abrupt storm-offs.

By the back half of the series, Amanda had called out Juliet Angus at group events, leading to repeated confrontations. Her now-viral “go back to Paddington” sledge became a fandom talking point, marking a very public falling-out. Amanda would later admit on air she considers herself the ‘queen’ of the group, adding fuel to the fire.

So when your mates become frenemies, what’s left? According to Juliet Angus, not much except “torture” and “toxicity”. Reflecting on the reunion dust-up, she told PEDESTRIAN.TV: “I found that to be very torturous, the the toxicity of it all. But I can’t go back to where we used to be years ago… my trust is very uh it needs to be earned again.”

Basically, she’s not about to forget what went down, and Amanda’s not getting a free pass.

When we asked Mayhew where the reunion blow up with Amanda came from she pointed to full-on ambush tactics. “With Amanda, it was just such a shock. Honestly, I actually didn’t know where that came from… I’m still trying to understand what she was upset about. It was just so confusing,” she explained, a bit exasperated even in the retelling.

Mayhew reckons the issue wasn’t just accidental drama: “She and Panthea [Parker] had a plan to come together to attack, which I didn’t know — maybe they’d made a union pre-show, I don’t know. So, I’m still trying to get to the bottom of where that was from… I was just absorbing it and in confusion.”

The Juliets thought that Amanda seemed to expect total loyalty all season, and if you even breathed in the direction of another friend, you wound up on the outs. Angus said, “Every time we were together, it was a like an annihilation of character and lies and… all the worst insults ever,” she said, barely pausing for breath.

Mayhew backed it up with a simple philosophy: “Friendship is built through having that trust and honouring someone. And if those fundamental key elements are lost, it’s quite difficult to build on that”.

“From my understanding, it was either all or nothing. So, you either absolutely fully agree with her, and therefore you are allowed to stay in her camp, or you absolutely don’t,” continued Mayhew.

What’s next? Angus is all about “baby steps” from here on out.

“I have to be cautious. I’m not letting her [Amanda] back in easily again,” she said. Mayhew took a similar approach: “Time heals, doesn’t it? And I think trust needs to be built again…”

If there’s any happy ending at all, it’s that the Juliets still have each other (and apparently Nessie), and even in the middle of London’s messiest social circle, they’re happy to laugh about maybe getting Princess Kate as a fan or skiing in the Alps for next season — “I have really good outfits,” Angus added.
