Millie Bobby Brown ‘Felt Safe’ Working With David Harbour Amidst On-Set Bullying Claims
Millie Bobby Brown said she “felt safe” working alongside David Harbour during Stranger Things amidst reports of complaints regarding Harbour’s on-set behaviour.

Reflecting on her Stranger Things journey, Brown revealed she “felt safe” working with Harbour for the last 10 years.
“Of course, I felt safe. I mean, we’ve worked together for 10 years,” Brown told Deadline.
“I feel safe with everyone on that set.
“You naturally just — you know — you’ve been doing it for so long. We also play father and daughter, so naturally, you have a closer bond than the rest because we have had some really intense scenes together, especially in season two.”
The 21-year-old actress went on to add that she and Harbour have a “great relationship” and that she’s “excited to see” how all the final Stranger Things scenes play out.
“David and I have a great relationship, we work really closely together in the scenes and preparing for the scenes, and I really am excited to see — for everyone to see the labour of love and hard work we’ve put into the closure of our relationship and what that looks like,” Brown added.
“Especially the Hopper and Eleven fans. Those scenes that I feel, I think, are going to be quite impactful. I love it. It makes me want to bring my A game every single time I see that I’m on the call sheet working with him because I know he’s bringing it right back.”
Brown’s comments come weeks after various outlets reported The Electric State actress filed a formal complaint against Harbour regarding his behaviour before production started for the final season of Stranger Things.
Per Daily Mail, Brown reportedly lodged “pages and pages” of claims against Harbour and his alleged behaviour, resulting in an internal investigation that “went on for months”.
Insiders also claimed that Brown was accompanied by a representative while shooting Stranger Things. However, executive producer Shawn Levy shut down the claims, telling The Hollywood Reporter that he’s seen “wildly inaccurate” reports.
“You have to create a respectful workplace where everyone feels comfortable and safe,” Levy said.
Despite the reports of alleged harassment and bullying, the co-stars appeared to be on good terms at the Los Angeles premiere of Stranger Things season five.
Although the duo looked to be on good terms, PR experts told Variety that it was “red carpet choreography”.
Harbour has yet to comment on the claims surrounding his alleged on-set behaviour on Stranger Things.
