Chilling 911 call by Sherrone Moore’s wife reveals suicide threat after Michigan firing for inappropriate relationship

A terrifying 911 call made by the wife of disgraced college football coach Sherrone Moore, on the day that he lost his job at Michigan, has come to light.
On December 10th, married father-of-three Moore, 39, lost his job as head coach of the Michigan Wolverines due to an ‘inappropriate relationship’ with a staffer before being arrested over an alleged assault in the space of a dramatic few hours.
The disgraced football coach was charged with breaking and entering, home invasion and stalking after entering a woman’s apartment, confronting her and threatening to kill himself, before spending two nights in jail.
He was eventually granted a $25,000 bond and released. If convicted on all counts, Moore, who has pleaded not guilty, could face up to six years behind bars.
Now, one month on from his arrest and firing, a chilling 911 call made by Moore’s wife, Kelli, on the day he was fired by Michigan has emerged.
In audio obtained my TMZ, a terrified Kelli told the 911 dispatcher: ‘I’m worried my husband is going to hurt himself’.

When asked why she believed that, Kelli replied: ‘Because he said that to me. He said he is trying to kill himself’.
The dispatcher then asked for Moore’s whereabouts. Kelli replied: ‘I don’t know. He just called me saying he got fired from his job, and he’s in crisis.
‘I told him that I love him and that I need him to come home, but I don’t know where he is. He said he was on a highway.’
Kelli continued by naming Moore and revealing his role as the coach of the Michigan Wolverines to the 911 operator, before insisting she wanted him to come home.
‘I just need to make sure he’s safe. He’s called a couple times, and I’m terrified he’s gonna do something to himself. I told him to come home,’ Kelli said on the call.
The married father-of-three is accused of breaking into the Ann Arbor home of his executive assistant, Paige Shiver, with a knife before engaging in a verbal argument with the unnamed victim that quickly escalated. He also allegedly threatened to harm himself during the terrifying incident.
After allegedly fleeing the apartment, he was eventually arrested at a church parking lot in a neighboring town. Moore, who is charged with breaking and entering, home invasion and stalking, then spent two nights in jail before he was granted a $25,000 bond and released.
The shocking incidents occurred on December 10th following an investigation by Michigan into his alleged ‘inappropriate relationship’ with a staff member.

In documents seen by Daily Mail, the unnamed staffer claimed that she had been in an ‘intimate relationship’ with Moore, with the coach himself admitting to detectives that it had lasted ‘approximately two years’.
The staffer is alleged to have ended the relationship two days before the arrest, also filing a formal report to the University of Michigan revealing the details of their secret romance.
Despite being dumped, Moore – who is married to his wife Kelli with three young daughters – is then said to have bombarded his former mistress with ‘dozens of text messages and calls’ over the next two days.
As he awaits his next court date, Moore is being forced to wear a GPS tether and is receiving mental health treatment as conditions of his release.
The police report also states that he has been prohibited from having any contact with the unnamed staffer, who remains employed by the University of Michigan.
The scandal took another dramatic twist late last month, with five women coming forward with claims about awkward exchanges with the coach.
According to The Athletic, the women do not accuse Moore of anything illegal but paint him acting erratically in the days before his firing.
One claims Moore was sending her direct messages on social media on November 1, the day his team beat Purdue 21-16. She thought it was a fake account at first. The Athletic adds that three of the women work in sports media and that another had mutual friends with him.

Reports also claim that Moore would sob in staff meetings and at other times lash out at his coaches in the days before his tenure as head coach came crashing down.
Ellen Michaels, the lawyer who is now representing Moore in response to the criminal charges he is facing, told The Athletic: ‘Sherrone Moore denies any criminal wrongdoing.
‘There is no history of domestic violence, no prior adjudication supporting claims of dangerous conduct, and no judicial determination validating these allegations. This matter will be decided in court based on evidence and due process, not speculation.’
Michaels was contacted by the Daily Mail and offered the chance to add further comment on The Athletic’s reporting.
Moore himself has not spoken publicly since his arrest. He was pictured in public alongside his wife Kelli after his release on bail and she is believed to be standing by him.
