FBI’s Kash Patel heads to Tucson in search for Nancy Guthrie amid daughter Savannah’s desperate plea

FBI Director Kash Patel is personally traveling to Tucson, Arizona to assist federal investigators in the search for Today Show host Savannah Guthrie’s mother.

President Donald Trump announced Wednesday night that he has directed ‘all federal law enforcement’ to help with the investigation ‘IMMEDIATELY,’ and a source within the bureau told Axios that meant that the director himself was getting involved.

The Daily Mail revealed how Nancy, 84, was abducted from her $1 million home late Saturday or early Sunday, according to police.

Authorities have said they believe the mother-of-three is still alive despite not having identified any suspects.

‘We have nothing else to go on but the belief that she is here,’ Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos said in a new interview with NBC’s Liz Kreutz. ‘She’s present. She’s alive, and we want to save her.’

Still, Savannah and her siblings pleaded with their mother’s captors to provide proof of life as they fear she may not survive without vital medication she needs to take daily.

FBI Director Kash Patel is heading to Tucson to aid in the investigation into Nancy Guthrie’s kidnapping, an FBI source told Axios.

President Trump had earlier announced that he has directed ‘all federal law enforcement’ to help with the investigation ‘IMMEDIATELY.’

‘We are deploying all resources to get her mother home safely,’ Trump wrote on his Truth Social page.

‘The prayers of our nation are with her and her family.’

Hostage negotiators seen at Savannah Guthrie’s sister’s house before Today Show host issues heartbreaking plea

Hostage negotiators descended on Nancy Guthrie’s $1 million Tucson, Arizona home on Wednesday hours before Savannah Guthrie shared a heartbreaking plea to her mother’s captors.

In an Instagram post, The Today Show anchor described her mother in glowing terms alongside her siblings as she asked the captors for proof that her mother is alive.

Guthrie – surrounded by her sister Annie and brother Camron – then said to the potential kidnappers that ‘we are ready to talk’ but wanted proof that they weren’t potentially using fraudulent images of her.

‘We live in a world where voices and images and images are easily manipulated. We need to know, without a doubt, that she is alive and that you have her. We want to hear from you and we are ready to listen. Please, reach out to us,’ she said, holding back tears.

Savannah also thanked everyone who offered prayers and support before detailing her ‘beloved mom’ Nancy’s state.

‘She is 84 years old. Her health, her heart is fragile. She lives in constant pain. She is without medicine, she needs it to survive. We too have heard the reports about a ransom letter in the media. As a family, we are doing everything that we can,’ she said.

DHS assisting with search, Kristi Noem says

Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem said her department is assisting in the search for Nancy Guthrie.

‘They have asked us to help with some of our K-9 teams and [Customs and Border Patrol] has partnered with other agencies involved,’ she told Fox News Wednesday night.

‘But we’re all just heart sick about this and hope she’s found soon, that she is safe and that we can get to the bottom of what really happened.’

Investigators looking into those who know Nancy

Pima County sheriff’s deputies are said to be looking into those who know Nancy or her family as possible suspects.

Still, investigators are not dismissing the ransom notes sent to a local news station and TMZ, as Savannah and her siblings begged their mother’s captor Wednesday night for proof of life.

Nancy Guthrie’s medical vulnerabilities are coming into sharper focus as the investigation into her disappearance stretched into a fourth day.

Authorities have not revealed the full extent of her health problems, but police have said that she is frail and has mobility issues that limit her ability to walk long distances.

Trump fan Laura Loomer praises president’s response

Trump fan Laura Loomer praised the president’s response to Nancy Guthrie’s disappearance, claiming Today Show host Savannah Guthrie ‘has been nothing but nasty to President Trump, and yet he’s still going out of his way to help her.’

‘He’s an amazing man with a huge heart and I wish more people understood how kind he is,’ Loomer posted on X.

‘I love President Trump. He makes me want to be a nicer person. But then I remember how annoying people are.’

The terrifying abduction of Savannah Guthrie’s mother Nancy may have been pulled off by more than one perpetrator, a former hostage negotiator believes.

Ex-NYPD hostage negotiator Wallace Zeins told CNN that evidence from the ongoing investigation suggests that Nancy, 84, may have been snatched by a coordinated group of criminals.

‘I believe the possibility of more than one person,’ Zeins said.

‘She’s 150 pounds, 5 foot 5, waking up in the middle of the night, not in the best of health — can’t walk or run, so I would think there’s more than one person involved in this particular crime.’

The FBI descended on Nancy Guthrie’s house Wednesday as law enforcement efforts were stepped up dramatically in the search for the missing retiree.

Cops said on Tuesday that they had turned the $1 million adobe-style house back over to the Guthrie family, but that all changed on Wednesday night.

A pickup truck from the Pima County Sherriff’s Department arrived at Nancy’s home,  along with two carloads of FBI investigators. The house has since been taped off, and agents were still inside as of 5.30pm local time.

Sheriff offers $2,500 reward for information

The Pima County Sheriff’s Department is offering a $2,500 reward for information leading to the arrest of the person or persons involved in the disappearance of Nancy Guthrie.

‘Any video and photography information is strongly requested for evaluation and analysis of evidentiary value,’ the department said.

Officials established a tip line and an evidence submission portal for people to submit information that may be helpful.

President Donald Trump announced Wednesday night that he has directed ‘all federal law enforcement’ to help with the investigation ‘IMMEDIATELY.’

‘We are deploying all resources to get her mother home safely,’ Trump wrote on his Truth Social page.

‘The prayers of our nation are with her and her family.’

Family may be trying to ‘establish a line of communication’

The Guthrie family may be trying to ‘establish a line of communication’ with their mother’s captors with the video statement posted to Savannah’s social media page Wednesday night, former deputy director of the FBI Andrew McCabe said on CNN.

He then suggested the video might indicate that the ransom letters TMZ and a local news station received are not legitimate.

‘I feel like this is a fairly strong signal that they do not believe that they’ve had a legitimate ransom demand yet,’ McCabe said.

‘This, to me, reads like an effort to establish a line of communication.’

It is believed the equipment was used to film Savannah and her siblings’ statement posted on the Today Show host’s social media page.
