Farah Griffin announced her pregnancy in October. She had been extremely candid about her in vitro fertilization (IVF) journey and her attempts to have a child.

Speaking on The View: Behind the Table podcast in December 2024, she revealed she and her husband had tried for over a year to conceive naturally.

‘I’m going through IVF right now,’ Farah Griffin said at the time. ‘So, my husband and I have been trying to get pregnant for about a year and a half, and it wasn’t happening naturally.

‘So, we made the decision to move forward with IVF. This is now my second cycle. So tomorrow, I will be in the doctor’s office dealing with that.’

Farah Griffin also shared how hard the process had been on her body.

‘I’ve been a wreck,’ she said. ‘I’ve not felt myself. I’ve been tired. I’ve been emotional. And you just feel uncomfortable in your body.’

Throughout her pregnancy, Alyssa was vocal about the highs and lows.

During an interview on The View: Behind the Table, she admitted that her first trimester ‘sucked’.

‘I felt terrible, but it’s weird because you’re not showing [and] nothing feels right,’ she said. ‘I had every side effect imaginable.’

Laying bare her side effects, Farah Griffin said that her migraines were ten times worse at the beginning of her pregnancy and that she was unable to keep any food down.

Luckily, her pregnancy improved during her second trimester which she described as ‘easy and fun’.
