Does This IG Comment Spoil Which MAFS Bride Leaves First?

There are two types of Married At First Sight (MAFS) viewers: those who prefer to remain blissfully unaware of any real-life relationship updates while the show is on air, and those who love to seek out spoilers.

If you identify more with the latter, welcome.

This article contains a major Married At First Sight 2026 spoiler. You can choose to stay or leave.

As if it wasn’t enough that one couple’s relationship status has seemingly been confirmed this week thanks to one of their friends’ Instagram Stories, it now appears we might have proof about when a couple leaves the experiment.

You see, MAFS is filmed from roughly July to November, and participants aren’t allowed to post on their social media during this period. Therefore, there’s typically a large gap on their Instagram feeds — unless they’re not in the experiment for very long.

Suspicious detail on Brook’s Instagram

PEDESTRIAN.TV has done some sleuthing and discovered Brook Crompton shared an Instagram post on July 14 — right before she filmed her TV wedding — and didn’t post anything again until August 30 when she was suddenly on holiday in the Maldives. Suspicious, no?

If we do the math, Daily Mail posted footage on August 8 of the cast attending the first dinner party of the season. If Brook was overseas three weeks later, that very much suggests that she and her partner Chris Nield called it quits at one of the first three commitment ceremonies.

And if that wasn’t enough confirmation for you, or you’re thinking “maybe they were just throwback photos”, one of her co-stars left a very telling comment.

Gia Fleur, who appeared very close to Brook during the Red Flags Green Flags task, wrote: “Gorgeous angel miss you”.

Would she really comment that if Brook were still in the experiment?

We already know that Gia and her partner Scott McCristal make it far in the experiment after her bestie Wil Thompson told P.TV he returns for Family & Friends Week, but this seems like confirmation that Brook doesn’t last as long.

Daily Mail also recently reported that Brook has since rekindled a romance with her ex-boyfriend, so we’ll have to wait and see how her relationship with Chris plays out on screen.

I hate to say it, but looks like Chris might’ve been right when he said in his wedding vows they had a 0.00001 per cent chance of working out.
