Married At First Sight (MAFS) fans have seemingly turned on Alissa Fay for the way she spoke about her husband, David Momoh, during the Final Test task.

Boy, oh boy. The Experts (or maybe the producers, who knows) knew what they were doing when they brought back the Final Test task in 2026.
For folks who are not in the know, the Final Test task — introduced in 2025 — allows our participants to meet their “alternative matches”.
While last year’s batch was given the option to meet or ditch their alt suitors, our 2026 brides and grooms were tasked with a group date where EVERYONE met their potential other halves.
But before the Final Test task took off, tensions between David and Alissa began to simmer following a rough Homestays Week and heated Commitment Ceremony session where David admitted that he couldn’t be honest with Alissa over fears of an argument.
The following morning, Alissa confronted David for what he said on the Ouch Couch, claiming she’d been “blindsided” by David’s words.
Before David and Alissa went their separate ways for the Final Test task, David admitted he was feeling off due to the fact that he and Alissa hadn’t solved their relationship problems.
“I’m not gonna lie, my mood is just shattered today,” David shared with Alissa.
When the task finally came into play, with the lovely backup brides walking into the venue, David immediately shut down his potential suitor, Crystal Diaz, and excused himself to the bathroom, where he stayed for the whole date alongside Scott McCristal, who also refused to participate in the task.
Unfortunately for David, Alissa decided to stay for her date with Conor Loughnan. And as an outsider, I honestly felt some major chemistry between the pair.

During their chat, Alissa pointed how different Conor was from David, how Conor was louder than David. She also asked him about his star sign and vented about how she’s kinda in the shits with her hubby.
When Conor probed her on how much she was into her marriage with David, the bride revealed she was only “70 per cent” in and was nowhere near 100.

Married At First Sight fans react to Alissa Fay’s behaviour at the Final Test task
While many folks were defending Alissa at the start of the experiment — especially during the Brook Crompton drama and the screenshot saga — fans have turned on the nurse, pointing out how excited she was for the date in comparison to David, who backed out.
But while some felt bad for David, some viewers reckon he and Scott were rude for ditching their potential suitors, considering the fact that they made the effort to appear on the show.
But many have dubbed the act “respectful” towards their MAFS wives.
Unfortunately, for Alissa and Gia Fleur, it looks like their husband will be seeing how they conducted themselves during the Final Test task. Now, the fallout from that??? Consider me sat.
