A glamorous tech executive has sparked fierce backlash by revealing her immense dating demands.

Earlier this week, Brooke LeBlanc, 29, from San Francisco, went viral on X after she shared her extensive list of ‘non-negotiables’ when it comes to prospective new partners.

It included everything from their body type and the specific personality traits she was after to their stance on kids.

It also contained rules, like, they must ‘be on the healing path’ and have a ‘history of serious commitment’ to healing by having seen a therapist, read a self-help book or been on a wellness retreat.

‘Wrote out a list of who I’m looking for,’ she began in the now-deleted post. ‘X, work your magic.

‘Non-negotiables: 35 to 42 years old, healthy, masculine, smart, funny, lighthearted, provider/protector mentality, post economic (still hardworking), must be kind, generous, thoughtful.’

She added that she wanted a man who didn’t have kids yet but had decided he wants some one day.

‘[They must be] on the healing path (history of serious commitment ex therapists, books, retreats),’ the list continued.

‘Can meet anywhere but will not date unless [we] live in the same city. [Must be] fit and sober because you care about your health.’

In addition to her ‘non-negotiables,’ she also included her ‘strongly preferred’ traits in a man.

This included not having any previous marriages or engagements. She also said she was looking for someone who works in tech.

The post came under intense scrutiny, but LeBlanc, who works as the ‘head of community’ at the AI insurance company Corgi, added in a follow-up post afterwards that despite the negative response, she had already found five potential new partners since the post went viral.

She has since taken down her entire X account. The Daily Mail has reached out to LeBlanc for comment but did not hear back.

LeBlanc started working at Corgi in February 2026. Before that, she worked as a business development manager for the software company iDeals, during which, she ‘sold the largest VDR contract in US to JP Morgan,’ per her LinkedIn.

It comes months after a leading etiquette expert revealed her ‘non-negotiable’ list for the ‘perfect man’ to the Daily Mail.

Jo Hayes, founder of EtiquetteExpert.org, outlined key traits she believes are essential in a future husband – a view shaped not just by expertise, but personal experience, as she too is searching for love. 

Speaking from both a professional and personal perspective, Hayes told the Daily Mail she is ‘intentionally seeking a man who pursues a low-tech, low-digital lifestyle.’

For Hayes, a man who isn’t on social media isn’t just a bonus – it’s highly preferred.

‘Why? For all of the reasons,’ she said. ‘They’re more emotionally available, less distracted, less mentally over-stimulated by the excess “noise/content” on social media, less aware of the details of other people’s lives.’

She believes that removing social media from the equation allows relationships to feel more private and meaningful, which is what women crave.

Beyond her rigid stance on social media, Hayes’ list leans heavily into shared values and long-term compatibility, particularly when it comes to faith. 

Finances are another major factor, and one she says many couples underestimate at their peril.

‘Ask any married couple, or marriage therapist, and you’ll discover that finances are up there as the leading issues of marital stress and conflict,’ she said.

But it’s not simply a case of marrying a rich man. Rather than wealth alone, Hayes emphasizes the importance of financial wisdom.

‘He doesn’t need to be a billionaire, but he must be financially secure, wise in creating wealth, and wise in stewarding that wealth,’ she added.
