It appears that Eddy Fry and Farmer Alex Thompson-Welch are no longer together, after unearthed social media posts and paparazzi pics revealed the Farmer Wants A Wife Australia winner’s reported new boyfriend.

Only just 24 hours after Farmer Alex picked Eddy in his quest for love, rumours began to swirl that the pair had called it quits, with sources claiming that they “didn’t last long” when production wrapped.

Now, images of what appear to be Eddy holding hands with another man have surfaced, and yeah, that’s definitely NOT the mushroom and beef farmer we all know.

Does Farmer Wants A Wife Australia’s Eddy Fry have a new boyfriend?

According to images obtained by New Idea, Eddy has moved on from her reality TV farmer beau with an Aussie-based Frenchman named Matthis.

In pictures — which you can view right here — the duo can be seen holding hands and sharing a hug while walking her dog, Whiskey. New Idea claims these images were snapped on June 28.

According to the publication, Eddy and Matthis’ romance blossomed at the start of the year, and they were introduced through mutual friends.

Why did Farmer Wants A Wife‘s Farmer Alex and Eddy split?

While these paparazzi pics are quite telling, the pair haven’t shared a statement regarding their current relationship status. So, as always with reality TV tea, please take it with a grain of salt.

Unfortunately, a reason behind their split has not been reported, but sources claim that the 28-year-old farmer is not doing well with the break up.

An insider claimed he was keen on moving to Brisbane to hopefully build a life with the lawyer before their relationship ended. However, Eddy’s life “has naturally progressed since the show”.

“While Eddy hopes viewers are not disappointed, the reality is her relationship with Farmer Alex just didn’t work out. They both gave it a good shot, but in the end they weren’t compatible,” the insider claimed.

Yikes. Honestly, this just makes me feel bad for the other ladies, but unfortunately, that’s the risk with dating in general! You either win or lose.

Despite being broken up, Eddy and Alex are expected to make an appearance at the Farmer Wants A Wife reunion, where I predict they announce their heartbreaking relationship status.
