Netflix Confirms Production For The Inbetweeners 3

The Inbetweeners 3‘s production has officially kicked off, and honestly, this is my version of a One Direction reunion — just a lot more awkward, cringy and crude.
12 years after The Inbetweeners 2 came out, which focused on Jay’s ‘gap year’ in Australia, Will, Jay, Neil and Simon have reunited for another adventure that’s bound to be packed with some cooked stunts and that questionable UK humour we all froth.
In a massive, nostalgia-gripping teaser released by Netflix overnight, the four boys can be seen piling into Simon’s Fiat Cinquecento, still the colour of Jay’s nan’s piss.
In true Simon fashion, the car struggled to start before it eventually left its tiny garage with a “3” in its rear window.
You can feast your eyes on the production announcement below:
Here’s what we know so far about the highly anticipated third movie of The Inbetweeners franchise.
Who is in the cast of The Inbetweeners 3?
Simon Bird, James Buckley, Blake Harrison, and Joe Thomas will all be reprising their roles as Will, Jay, Neil and Simon.
While other recurring stars have not been confirmed, I am predicting (and manifesting) the return of Greg Davies as Phil Gilbert, Belinda Stewart-Wilson as Polly McKenzie, Martin Trenaman as Alan Cooper, Robin Weaver as Pamela Cooper, and Alex Macqueen as Kevin Sutherland.

I’d also love to see Emily Head return as Carli D’Amato, Henry Lloyd-Hughes as Donovan, and Lydia Rose Bewley as Jane.
What is The Inbetweeners 3 about?
The plot for the third movie has been hush-hush. However, if it’s anything like its first two movies, it’s going to be absolutely bonkers.
To give you a refresher, the first Inbetweeners movie follows the fucked four as they head to Greece for a break. However, their holiday results in absolute carnage, especially after Simon realises that his ex and longtime crush, Carli, is holidaying in the same place. It’s also the movie where we see Theo James snort a line with a note covered in Jay’s poo.

In the second movie, released in 2014, Will, Simon and Neil visited Jay during his ‘gap year’ in Australia, which was, unsurprisingly, a sham.
When is The Inbetweeners 3 coming out?
A premiere date has not been revealed yet, and honestly, it’ll be YONKS since filming has just kicked off. But as soon as that drops, we’ll update the info here.
That’s all for now, folks, but we’ll be back as more tea regarding this three-quel drops.
