Kelly Clarkson stuns fans by debuting bold new look after quitting talk show
Kelly Clarkson has completely revamped her look after quitting her daytime talk show.
The singer, 44, recently cut off her luscious long brown hair and swapped it for a short edgy blonde bob.
Clarkson showed off her ‘do while performing at Providence College’s annual Late Night Madness event over the weekend in Rhode Island.
With her newly short hair, the Since U Been Gone hitmaker was easily able to rock out on stage without her tresses getting in the way.
Just two weeks prior to the performance, Clarkson debuted her new look during an appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers.
‘No extensions. I chopped my hair off recently!’ she announced on the show.

Fans have been stunned by Clarkson’s new style, with one commenting, ‘She’s in her “short hair don’t care” era!’
Another wrote, ‘I think Kelly looks great with her real hair. I don’t think she looks older. I think she looks great.’
Despite having a brand new look, viewers at home are still seeing Clarkson with her old long hair on season 30 of NBC’s The Voice, which is currently airing but was taped before her makeover.
Last week, Clarkson revealed that she is staying away from the dating scene out of consideration for her two young children in the wake of their father’s death.
Clarkson, 44, married her manager’s son Brandon Blackstock in 2013, after which they welcomed their daughter River, 12, and son Remington, 10.
Blackstock then took over for his father by becoming her new manager.
The couple’s marriage eventually collapsed in 2020, triggering a bitter and protracted legal battle before their divorce was finalized in 2022.
He died last August at the age of 48 after a secret battle with skin cancer, and Clarkson was one of the attendees at his funeral.

Last week, the star disclosed that she has not welcomed a new man into her life.
‘My kids right now, I think – there’s a lot behind that – but I think that would rock their boat a little bit,’ she explained to Bowen Yang and Matt Rogers during an appearance on their podcast Las Culturistas.
‘And honestly, this is not a bulls*** answer: I love my life right now. It just got to where I am not exhausted at every point of it,’ noted the American Idol winner, whose daytime talk show aired its final episode at the end of August.
The singer observed that ‘if you’re gonna be in a relationship, you have to be willing to give some of your time up, and I am unwilling.’
As news spread of Blackstock’s shocking death, it emerged in his obituary that he had struck up a romance with Clarkson’s ex-assistant Brittney Marie Jones.
Jones and Blackstock had settled into a quiet life in Butte, Montana, living in the mountains and running a rodeo in the nearby tourist destination Bozeman.
‘After more than 20 years in the music business, Brandon found his way back to the mountains and the cowboy way of life he always wanted to live,’ his obituary read.
