Disney Cruise Ship Believe to Debut ‘Encanto’ Musical, ‘Frozen’ Family Feast and More

Disney has unveiled its latest cruise ship, Believe. The ship will embark on its maiden voyage on Dec. 18, 2027 from its homeport of Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.

Among the brand-new experiences is the first stage adaptation of “Disney Encanto,” which will premiere on board and is being developed exclusively for the Disney Believe.

“Oaken’s Table: A Frozen Family Feast,” a brand-new, untold chapter in the “Frozen” story featuring Oaken, Anna and Kristoff, will also be unveiled. Set in a courtyard deep within the forest, Oaken and his family will invite guests to dine together while enjoying the musical stylings of his cousins.

Guests can also experience The Grand Hall, a living theater where characters from across the Disney universe take center stage, designed to evoke the vibrant world where the sky meets the sea from Disney Animation’s “Moana” films.

Among the other entertainment experiences based on Disney IP, the Wishing Well is a gathering space themed to the iconic settings and locales featured in the Disney animated classic “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.” Gazelle will be a “Zootopia”-inspired entertainment hub offering a variety of live shows designed for families to laugh, sing and compete together (plus adult-exclusive options at night). Inside Out: Joyful Sweets offers confectionery inspired by the Pixar series’ expanded cast of emotions from “Inside Out 2.” And there will be new cafes themed to “Big Hero 6″ and “Moana.”

Disney Believe joins its sister ships Disney Wish, Disney Treasure and Disney Destiny. It is part of the growth plan for Disney Cruise Line which will see the fleet expand to 13 ships in late 2030.
