The tour bus driver of singer Sawyer Hill died tragically as the vehicle careened off of the road and flipped in a horrifying accident last week.
David RollingCloud Jackson, 50, has since been identified as the bus driver who suffered a ‘sudden medical emergency’ that caused the vehicle to cross three lanes of traffic before ‘eventually rolling.’

The musician posted about the incident on Instagram Tuesday as he described it as a ‘terrifying experience’ as he announced his driver’s death.
Hill wrote: ‘It was a terrifying experience for everyone on board, myself included, and we are devastated to share that our driver lost his life. Several member of our band and crew were also injured.

Jackson’s daughter-in-law Danni Won created a GoFundMe in hopes of bringing her father-in-law’s body back home and to help the family with funeral expenses.
In the description of the crowd-funding effort, she revealed that Jackson had been living with atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease (ASCVD) and was also epileptic though the details of the medical emergency still remain unclear.
Wong said that her father-in-law had already passed away before the crash as she wrote: ‘There was no warning. No time to prepare. No chance to say goodbye.
‘One moment, David was out doing something he loved, and the next, his family was left trying to comprehend a loss that feels impossible to put into words.’
She also revealed that Jackson was a father of four and grandfather to three.
Wong continued: ‘So many people have lost someone whose presence in their lives can never truly be replaced I am asking for help on behalf of our family during one of the most heartbreaking times we have ever faced.
‘We are trying to bring David home to Minnesota, give him the celebration he deserves, and allow the people who love him to come together to grieve, share memories, and celebrate the life he lived.’
As of early Wednesday afternoon, the fundraiser has raised over $14,000 of the targeted $20,000.
