Vanessa Trump reveals she is breast cancer free: ‘It came back clear’
Vanessa Trump has revealed that she is cancer free.
The 48-year-old appeared alongside daughter Kai Trump in a video shared to Instagram on Friday.
In the clip, uploaded to promote October as Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Kai began: ‘My mom was diagnosed with breast cancer in April.
‘So we thought we would share her story and how she was diagnosed and how she overcame it.’
It briefly cut to Dr Nicole Saphier discussing the disease before Vanessa appeared back on screen.
‘[Tests] came back clear so I am finally cancer free,’ she shared, as the mother-daughter duo exchanged a hug.
The mother-of-five had publicly announced in May that she was diagnosed with breast cancer.
Vanessa, the ex-wife of President Donald Trump’s eldest son, Don Jr, said at the time that she had undergone a ‘procedure.’

‘I want to share a personal health update. I’ve recently been diagnosed with breast cancer. While this isn’t news anyone expects, I’m working closely with my medical team on a treatment plan,’ she said.
Vanessa, who is currently dating pro-golfer Tiger Woods, added that she was grateful to her doctors for performing the procedure.
‘I am staying focused and hopeful while surrounded by the love and support of my family, my kids and those closest to me.
‘Thank you for your kindness and support, it truly means more than I can express.’
In June, Vanessa issued a second statement that she was recovering from surgery and preparing to begin the next stage of treatment.
Kai has been candid about her mom’s health journey after previously opening up about how the diagnosis gave them an opportunity to spend more time together over the summer.
Speaking to Fox News from the University of Miami back in August, she explained: ‘I was very lucky to spend a lot of time with her over the summer, because of cancer and going to treatments with her.
‘It was a blessing in disguise, because I was able to spend extra time with her that I would normally probably spend on the golf course.

‘It was nice to spend those extra hours with her throughout the day before going to college.’
Alongside the latest upload earlier today, shared with Kai’s three million followers, she wrote a lengthy caption that read: ‘October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a time to raise awareness about early detection, education, and support for those affected by breast cancer.
‘I sat down with my mom and Dr. Nicole Saphier to talk about my mom’s journey with breast cancer and learn more about prevention and early detection.’
The 19-year-old explained that a longer conversation would be uploaded to her YouTube channel on Saturday.
